About the white horse inn
The White Horse Inn is a beautiful 16th century coaching inn, which contains many original features.
We acquired The White Horse Inn in Oct 2018. At the time, the pub had one bar and a large part of the pub had been sectioned off and converted into a house
food for the entire family!
The Stable
Come and join us at our restaurant “The Stable” which serves exceptional gastro pub style cuisine.
There is a noticeable theme with bridles, saddles and bespoke made stable partitions for cosy dining.
The restaurant is open Wednesday – Sunday 12pm to 8pm.

The best Sunday Roast I’ve had!
I popped into this beautiful establishment today (Sunday 31/10/21) for a Sunday Roast and I honestly cannot recommend the White Horse in Badwell Ash enough. The best Sunday Roast I have had, no joke! Literally I could not fault it at all! The chicken wonderfully flavoursome and the roasted vegetables topping it off a treat. The beer sublime and to top it off super friendly staff who provided 5* service. Could not recommend it enough. Cheers guys!

Fab grazing menu featuring something for everyone. Friendly team. Dog-friendly. Excellent local pub. Recommend the Parmesan Chips, cheese straws, tuna salad or burger!

Daughters 40th Birthday celebration
The White Horse catered for my Daughter's 40th.
We had a buffet lunch, with an Indian meal in the evening. The horse box bar was hired too. The staff were so obliging with our requests and were on hand all day.
The food was exquisite, a menu of which had been put together by ourselves.
If you're looking for something very special, this is it you don't need to look any further.

Superb food and great atmosphere
Visited the pub for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint! The food was of top quality as were our drinks and service. Ample portions so even a big eater will find the meal very filling. The atmosphere is great too, couldn’t fault anything. Strongly recommended.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch
My goodness what a lovely lunch, food was superb, welcomed with a smile and service was excellent. Menu varied and a good choice, cannot fault the food or service. Good range of drinks and family friendly.

A hidden gem in the Suffolk countryside
Excellent food. We had the grazing menu (a little like tapas). All of it perfect & very tasty. The service was excellent too from the moment that we walked in the door to the moment we left. Happy to open a fresh bottle of wine at our request rather than pour from one that had already been opened. The surroundings were horse themed which fits with the historic name of the pub, a nice touch. Will definitely go again!

Wedding event bar
We can not thank Aaron and his team enough for the most professional and well executed service for our wedding bar. From start to finish they fulfilled the brief… Arriving with all the modern pumps and equipment they truly went over and beyond to cater for our special day and all our wishes.
Providing superb barmen-ship and were a joy to work with. We are great full and thankful for you being apart of our wedding day.
The whiskey was far the best I the bride’s eyes.

A special lunch
Recently refurbished and redesigned to appeal to a larger clientelle, this was a welcome surprise and a discovery for us. Quite by chance we were the very first customers to try the new grazing menu which was extensive without being expensive. Portion sizes were perfect for a light lunch with the option of mixing and matching other dishes for those with a larger appetite. Everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty. A lovely lunch in smart surroundings, we will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Nice puddings too!

Sunday Lunch
We visited after arriving for a week's holiday and thought we'd try it out.
We had the Sunday lunch. We were made to feel welcome and our little dog was given a bowl of water as soon as we were seated.
The food arrived and I can honestly say it was one of the most delicious Sunday roasts I have ever had.
Thank you for a warm welcome and gorgeous food. We all wished we lived nearer.
bars & drinks
We have two bars, the first is the sports bar with pool table, darts board and several large screens showing all sky and BT sports events. Our second bar has comfy seating and a log burning stove.
Both bars serve a variety of cask ales, gins, premium spirits, wines and every other tipple you would expect.
Dog Friendly
We are a dog-friendly pub, four legged friends are always welcomed with a bowl of water and a dog treat. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as long as they are well behaved
