OUR STORY

Welcome to The White Horse Inn, a charming 16th-century coaching inn, brimming with history and character. Our journey with this historic establishment began in October 2018 when we embarked on a mission to restore its former glory.

DOG FRIENDLY

We are a dog-friendly pub, four legged friends are always welcomed with a bowl of water and a dog treat. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as long as they are well behaved.

 Verified Perfect dining experience
We booked in for the ‘steak night’ and could not have been more pleased with our experience. Before we even arrived, Matt helped with our booking and payment of deposit and was understanding of last minute changes due to unforeseen circumstances. When we arrived the atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly and the food was OUTSTANDING. There was a child in our party and they were catered for perfectly. We couldn’t fault the food and we can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I have to the White Horse twice recently for birthday dinners. Latest 1 Feb. On both occasions the food and service has been excellent, The food was of high quality and the menu more interesting than plain pub grub and at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The pub has the sort of atmosphere that when you walk in, even as a stranger, you immediately feel at home.  Verified Wonderful local pub to Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges
We were staying at the holiday villages nearby and visited the pub on Friday for lunch and Sunday for dinner. Both meals were delicious. The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve tasted and so plentiful and couldn’t finish it all. The staff were attentive, professional and polite. Food is amazing. Do visit if you are in the area.
